Thomas Lister were delighted to support the Annual Career Day held at Tudor Grange Academy Worcester on 24th June 2025, welcoming attendees from across Worcestershire.
Jon Elmer, Associate Director, and Matt Kitson, Senior Development Consultant, actively engaged with attendees sharing experiences and insights on the path to becoming a Chartered Surveyor. Not only is this incredibly motivating but is also provided invaluable guidance for those considering this career.
Karen McStay, Associate Sixth Form Coordinator / Careers Advisor at Tudor Grange Academy Worcester said “ Thank you so much for volunteering your time yesterday to support our students. Your efforts truly made the day a huge success, and the students were absolutely thrilled with the experience!
Here’s what some of our students had to say:
“Courses at universities are very different, with the same name.”
“There are lots of option choices”
“The importance of eye-contact in an interview”
“You don’t need a degree to get a job”
“Your career is not set in stone”
“Your first job does not determine your career”
“How important preparation is for an interview”
“You get paid a full time wage as an apprentice”
“I can do anything if I get good grades!!”
The event was a great success, and we look forward to participating in future events with educational providers.
