Our Story

Thomas Lister was formed in 2002 by experienced surveyors Chris Thomas and Rachel Lister who each have more than 20 years experience in property development.

Our aim has remained consistent – to provide quality, well researched advice and devise strategies that enable public and private sector property development and regeneration projects to become reality and help deliver successful projects.

Underpinned by a track record of delivery, our team combines chartered surveyors and planning consultants providing quality advice across a broad range of property consultancy services.

Our clients include national regeneration agency, Homes England, a wide range of Local Authorities and Combined Authorities as well as national property developers such as Stoford, Lovells, and Harworth.

We are currently advising on over 30 development schemes – with capacity for over 35,000 new homes and over 50,000 sq m of commercial development throughout the country.

Appraisal of over 300 funding applications over the past 3 years for over 25,000 new dwellings and 200,000 sq m for commercial uses.

We have completed the disposal of sites with capacity for over 1,000 new dwellings over the past 12 months, and are currently advising in respect of acquisition of sites with capacity for over 10,000 new dwellings and 25,000 sq m of commercial development.
